Your Coastal Empire Chapter of AUSA is hosting our fall golf tournament
. The
format is a four-person scramble, and there will be a shot-gun start at 9
a.m. There will be plenty of food, drink and prizes! Sign up

"SHRED IT-DON'T SHARE IT"
WHEN:September 21 & 22
WHERE:Hunter Army Airfield PX Parking Lot and The Furniture Store Parking Lot (Bldg 419)

The DPTMS Security Division in partnership with the DPW Environmental Division is once again sponsoring the
FS/HAAF "SHRED IT - DON'T SHARE IT" Days! Scrutinize the Personally
Identifiable Information (PII) documents you maintain and those you've been
meaning to get rid of - protect yourself and your Family Members from
Identity Theft - SHRED IT! No appointment required. To expedite the process
PLEASE remove all metal objects from the documents. Positive security
control will be maintained until destroyed at the Fort Stewart Recycling
Processing Center. The locations for the shredding turn-in are: Hunter Army Airfield
PX Parking Lot, 1230 p.m. to 230 p.m. on September 21 and the Furniture Store Parking Lot (Bldg 419), 100 p.m.-300 p.m.
on September 22. Questions may be referred to the DPTMS Security Division 912-767-8613.

HUNTER HOLDS BOYS AND GIRLS DAY FOR KIDS
WHEN:September 25 @ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE:Hunter Splash Park

The Directorate of Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation Child and Youth Service offers a Boys and Girls
Day for Kids. The event is to provide an opportunity for adults and youth to stay involved with each
other and spend meaningful time together. Activities includes music, sack
races, tug of war, tattoos, ring toss, bean bag toss, jump rope contest, and
free food and drinks. There will also be a bike rodeo for children ages 6-9

CANOOCHEE RIVER PADDLE TRIP SCHEDULED
WHEN:September 25 @ 9 a.m.
WHERE: Banks of Bidd Sands Lake at the Evans County Public Fishing Area

Community Members are invited to the Ogeechee Riverkeeper's guided paddle
trip down the Canoochee River through Fort Stewart, 25 September 10. The
canoe trip is expected to travel approximately 5 to 6 river miles and is
recommended for experienced paddlers only. The paddle trip requires
advanced registration at
open to the public with a suggested donation of $5. The events start at 9
a.m. with coffee and pastries on the banks of Bidd Sands Lake at the Evans
County Public Fishing Area and continues with the Ogeechee Riverkeeper's
annual meeting at 10 a.m. (BYOC - Bring your own Chair). Guests are
encouraged to bring a sack lunch and to be prepared to launch for experience
paddlers down the Canoochee at 11 a.m. Leisurely paddle or fishing is
available at Bidds Sands Lake. The Canoochee Paddle Trip is expected to
last till approximately 5 p.m. For more information, visit

FRG TRAINING CHILD CARE APPROVED UNTIL SEPT. 30 @ Fort Stewart And Hunter AAF
Child care
will be paid for the following FRG Trainings:
* FRG Basic Course- 6.5 hours
* Key Caller Training- 2.5 hours
* Treasurer Training- 2.5 hours
* Family Care Team Training- 3 hours
* Advanced FRG Training- 6.5 hours
* Advanced FRG Treasurer Training- 2.5 hours

to the Child Development Center (Stewart) building 475 or (Hunter)
1289. Reservations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to the class.
Cancellations must be made at least four hours prior to the start of the
training. If the training begins at 9 a.m., the cancellation must be made to
Army Community Service the day prior to training. More than two "no shows"
without appropriate cancellation to the Child Development Center will result
in the loss of free child care for FRG Training. Call ACS for additional
information.
