Over the past week, my phone and email has been going crazy!!! It must be that time of the year! We are closing in on the ONE YEAR anniversary date of the 2009 Deployment out of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field (HAAF).
Many wives are getting ready to move back to the "Home Post" while the soldiers down range are visiting all the rental sites, army housing websites to find the perfect home to return to.
Here are a few of my favorite sites I like to keep an eye on:
- AHRN.com (Automated Housing Referral Network)
- Militarybyowner.com
- REMilitary.com
- Craigslist.com (be careful of scams, always do your research, in doubt ask a Realtor)
- Ask a Realtor to do a MLS search
If you are a homeowner in the area and will consider renting your home, please comment to this post! Rental homes are quickly disappearing from the market and the selection is few. HELP! We need more inventory to offer these soldiers who have been deployed for a year. They want a place to call home.
