Constructs and Inventions: The Etchings of Erik Desmazières

This fascinating exhibition of works by French artist Erik Desmazières will consist of a varied selection of his technically and conceptually sophisticated etchings—including architectural views, building interiors, grotesque figures, and still lifes. Although major one-person shows of Desmazières’ prints have recently been mounted by museums in France, Switzerland, Italy, and the Netherlands, Constructs and Inventions will be the artist’s first solo museum exhibition in the United States.
