Isaiah Davenport House Museum presents “Tea At Mrs. Davenport’s

Learn about tea traditions and experience an early 19th century tea in the historic atmosphere of the Isaiah Davenport House Museum. Patrons will be oriented to the history of tea and tea traditions relating to the early 19th century consumers. They will tour areas of the home where tea service took place and will participate in a simulated afternoon tea given with costumed interpreters. The program will take one hour.
Reservations recommended and must be received 24 hours in advance. There is a 14 person maximum per program. The Davenport House is an historic site which tells the story of a successful craftsman and his household in early 19th century Savannah. Price: $18 adult, $14 students 8 to 17. The Legacy Tour from Invisible Children
